
Ninjatrader can sometimes be fickle and cause
unforeseen issues. Usually when something
does not work, it is easier to just start over
rather than trying to troubleshoot the issue.
There are two types of un-installs, let's
call them a "WARM" un-install and a "HARD"
un-install. Most of the time all that is
required to fix unforeseen issues is a "WARM"
un-install. If that does not work, then
you will be required a "HARD" un-install.
WARM Un-install
- Close Ninjatrader
- Go to Windows Control Panel
- Select Programs and Features
- Locate Ninjatrader in your Program
listing. Highlight it and right click on it
and remove.
- Re-run the Ninjatrader Installer,
then you should be good to go.
- This Procedure DOES NOT CHANGE any of
your settings.
HARD Un-Install
- First do the WARM Un-install
- Next, manually delete this folder
"C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\NinjaTrader
7" in your documents folder.
- Re-Install Ninjatrader
- This deletes all your settings and
requires you to reset all your settings.
- You will Need the following
information to reset things up.
- Your Ninjatrader License Key
- Your credentials for your Broker
Account
- Then re-install Zonetrader II
(Should be In your hold folder)
- Rerun you Unique ID/Password Program.
(Should be In your hold folder)
- Reset any personal settings like
colors and commissions you may of had.
- If all else fails for you,
then
file a support ticket.
